The promise of being a Secret Shopper is considerable - you are assigned to go to a place of business and perform some kind of action. You may be asked to make a purchase, make an inquiry about a purchase, or simply observe conditions at the location. You then make a report about your findings and you are usually compensated in some way, like being reimbursed for your purchase or receiving a fee for your work. The compensation you receive is dependent on if the company accepts your work. You are required to follow specific directions in order for your report to be accepted.
I've registered for several secret shopper programs. I've performed shops at restaurants like Piccadilly Cafeteria and Papa John's and easy loan places so far. You may have read of people who are making a full time income doing secret shopping. I think those people must live in major metropolitan areas, as the offers for secret shopper jobs I've seen are not numerous enough to live on in my area. I've usually just been reimbursed for my purchases, with the occasional fee I received without having to spend anything.
Most secret shopper sites function the same way: register for free, then search for jobs you would like to perform and apply for those jobs. Keep in mind the following:
1) If you live in a smaller city or medium sized city, the jobs may not be very plentiful and the competition for them could be great. I found I needed to register several weeks in advance for some jobs, as they would be filled quickly.
2) If you sign up for a secret shopper service, many of the companies listed in the service may not still be in operation. I ran into this on several occasions.
3) Make sure you put in a detailed report, following all directions as given. I've never had a report rejected, but I imagine the secret shopper companies would be inclined to reject a report if the directions for completing and submitting are not followed.
Overall I think you can make some money from secret shopping. I don't think you could do this for a primary source of income, unless you live in a major city and don't mind spending a lot of time completing detailed (and sometimes lengthy) reports. The ratio of time spent working to the financial benefit is average, from my experience. I found the benefits of secret shopping for me to be largely getting some meals for free.
That's not bad - its just not the money machine I and you are looking for to break out of our work prison.

Yuwie is a great place to make money online and not have to pay for it. It’s about time we got paid to have fun.
You are able to have a blog, post pictures, talk to people, make new friends all the while getting paid to do so.
Why not right?
I have met so many people on this site. I love it because I can voice my opinion and people see what I am talking about and can respond back to me. You get paid just to look at peoples pages. You get paid to write a blog, you get paid period.

There is no doubt that working at home is a dream for many, if not most people. I think there is a part of everybody that wants to work at home. There are many ways to make money by working at home. 4. Lack of focus. People get side tracked very easily, and also give up much sooner then they should. They lack the focus and concentration you need to become successful online.
5. No money to invest. People think they can make money online for only $20 - $50. We all know you need to spend money to make money. Some people just simply lack the extra funds you need to get a business off the ground.
6. Fear of failure. People sit on the fence wondering "what if" so long that their mind gets filled up with nothing but fear. So when they finally do join a business their mind is already programmed with fear and failure.

How To Make Money Online Without A Website
You don't need to have a website to make money on the Internet. Here is a proven strategy to make money online without a website:
Step 1: Find Affiliate Product

Gold At $750? Gold At $540? Profit Either Way!

It's one thing to let your profits run on a trade, but it's also true that it doesn't make sense to take unjustified risks with profit that's on the table. So when I wrote recently to my trading signal clients that I had concerns with what I saw unfolding in the spot Gold (XAUUSD) market it was to protect the profit on the table. On our open long trade I increased the trailing stop to lock in gains of +1.3% for the remaining portion (the other half of this trade was closed for a +3.8% gain).
Here I'll explain why I'm a bit nervous and outline a trading strategy for managing risk at this time.
Spot Gold recently posted a big range day that opened near the high and closed near the low.
Over the past year Gold has delivered another three of these reversal days. What happened in those instances? Well, it Was Not Nice! Further fast frantic declines within four trading days. Of course these reversal days don't always deliver further rapid declines, and if XAUUSD pushes above the high of the reversal day at 677, then that is a very bullish sign.
The spot Gold market is currently trading near 667.0. I have exits above and below, at 669.0 and 656.81. Both exits will deliver profit, but the 669.0 exit I've just added is the difference between +3.2% and +1.3% gains, which is worth having if available. On an hourly chart of XAUUSD it looks like it should push to at least 669, but no market comes with guarantees included.
One of those exits will get hit eventually. Then what should we do?
* If spot Gold continues up and pushes beyond 677, it should go all the way to $750 or more. So I'm placing a conditional stop buy entry (buy-at-a-stop) at 677.0. If this is entered the stop-loss is 656.81.
* If spot Gold heads south from here then I want to be short at 640.0 (sell-at-a-stop), with an initial stop-loss at 676.0. This would mean spot Gold is entering its wave 3 decline (in Elliott wave terms) and should eventually continue down to under $540.0 before any sustained rally kicks in.
* If you've read my recent article on the global spread of risk aversion, you'll know that I think Gold is heading north. A key to successful trading is not to focus on being right, but on how to make a profit given how the market is unfolding. In this case, I don't have to be right. I don't care which way Gold jumps. Either way, there should still be a good move to trade and the opportunity should unfold very soon. The beauty of this strategy is that I can make further profits whichever way the Gold market decides to jump.

How to Make Money Online with Selling Anything
I have done extensive searching for a way to make money online. You know it's tough. First I bought into trying to sell someone else's products, than I bought into making my own website and trying to sell it from that...Finally I decided to write my own ebook and try to sell it.
But the bottom line is, without the marketing material, without the support, it really is a one-man show. So an important way to make money is to have an upline, to have a direct line of communication for people to talk to and ask questions.
It is really frustrating when you join a program and don't understand everything. Who do you contact? Who has a success story? What kind of material did they use for advertising?
So I recommend that you research the group you are thinking of joining and make sure they have a strong support team.
Take UVME it's the next big gaming site. But what's great about it, is they are trying to get people signed up for the prelaunch. So the more people under you...the more money. The great thing, free!
